📜 Engagement Agreement

Dear Tax Client,

Thank you for selecting Year End Solutions to assist you with your tax matters. This letter confirms the terms of our professional engagement and outlines the scope and nature of the services we will provide.

Scope of Services

We will prepare your federal, state, and local income tax returns for the tax year(s) you have requested, based on information you provide. While we may request clarification on certain items, we will not audit, verify, or independently authenticate the data you submit.

Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information required for the preparation of your returns. You should retain all supporting documentation, including receipts, invoices, canceled checks, and other records that substantiate your reported income and deductions.

Professional Standards and Limitations

Our engagement does not include procedures designed to detect fraud, defalcations, or other irregularities. We will apply our professional judgment when addressing unclear areas of tax law. Tax law imposes penalties for the understatement of tax liability.

Records Retention

We will retain copies of your records and work papers for a period of five years from the completion of services. After three years, materials will be destroyed in accordance with our document retention policy.
